City walls, Diyarbakir
Diyarbakir is surrounded by an almost intact, dramatic set of high walls of black basalt forming a 5.5 km circle around the old city.
There are four gates into the old city and 82 watch-towers on the walls, which were built in antiquity, restored and extended by the Roman emperor Constantius in 349.
In addition, the walls of Diyarbakir in the world after the Great Wall of China is the second largest city walls.

Gazi Mansion (Seman Mansion)
Built during the Akkoyunlu period in the 15th century, this mansion exhibits many of the architectural characteristics of the period.
On 13th of March, 1917 Mustafa Kemal (Atatürk) attended to Diyarbakir as an army commander and stayed here for 11 months. This mansion is also called Gazi Mansion.
The second floor has a terrace and a room used today to display a number of goods belonging to Atatürk.

Dicle River (Tigris River)
The Tigris is the most important river in Diyarbakir, watering the region's farmland via a network of irrigation channels.
10 Gözlü Köprü (Ten-eyed Bridge)
Built in the 8th. century, it is named Ten-eyed Bridge after its 10 elegant arches.. Demolished during the siege of the city by Byzantine Emperor John I Tzimisces.
Restored at various times throughout history but the birdge lost its original form..
Malabadi Bridge, Silvan, Diyarbakir
The Malabadi Bridge (Turkish: Malabadi Köprüsü) is an arch bridge spanning the Batman River near the town of Silvan, Diyarbakir in southeastern Turkey. It was built between 1146 and 1147 during the Artuk period by Timurtas of Mardin, son of Ilgazi, grandson of Artuk. It was restored in the late twelfth century, and recently in the beginning of the 20th century. It was once the only bridge across the river in this area, and was in continuous use until the 1950s, when a new road bridge was opened upstream.
